Common Troubles Caused by Humid Weather

Okay! I have this dehumidifier for six months. We bought it because we have been having an outstanding of high moisture level and molds every where in the apartments. We had it painted twice. We almost gave up because we did not know where the moisture comes from and what the solution would be.
Until I found this Waykar dehumidifier, I was extremely hesitant because of the price and I could not guarantee if it will solve our problem.
I bought the 4500 sq ft although we live in a medium size apartment because I needed tight control of the moisture.
We followed the instruction of installation and then started turning it on. In the beginning, we kept it on more than 48 hrs continues to dry up the apartment. The humidity would not go below 50 or 55 no matter how long it is on. We though the dehumidifier is no good and cannot get the humidity under control.
I emailed the customer service; they responded super quickly and assured me that I need to keep it on for 24-48 hrs in the beginning.
Afterwards, we started to see the numbers are at 40 or sometimes below (we adjust to 45, but the customer service told there is always 5-10% off).
You can see in the picture the dehumidifier sensor reads 40 and the hygrometer also reads 41.
Great product. I was buying this for my camper and decided to purchase one for my basement / bedroom as well. My husband didnt think it was damp there but I was convinced it was. We opened it and read all the instructions. The first time running it I was so surprised that the water bin was almost full. I have kept it running consistently, except at night, since we got it. The bin is almost full every time after about 8 hours. I am impressed with how it works. I can tell that it definitely doesnt feel as damp in that room any more. It is super easy to use, instructions are very easy to follow. Its not super loud but more like just a fan running which I love anyway. Like I said it doesnt feel damp so I feel like the air quality is better. Its seems to be very durable and and is easy to move. The price was perfect for us and would easily spend that on it again based on what we are seeing at this time.
My only Con is I wish it had a way to turn off the display light. I would love to run it at night but the light stays on and I love to have the room as dark as possible when sleeping but its not a huge problem for me because I just run it during the day.
I bought this for my damp 3500 sqft basement. Within a few hours the basement was down about 20% humidity and it now maintains the setting by coming on every few hours. The machine is made to last, not like the cheap ones from the big box stores. Been using for about a month and can’t be happier. It came packaged securely and was easy to get started. The digital display is easy to use and the wheels make the unit so smooth to move. Excellent machine!
Received my Waykar dehumidifier! This thing is solid! Packaged very nicely and secure. it was very easy to install and so far working like a charm! This model has two drainage options, the regular continuous drainage (which is what I am using) and a pump method. The pump method would be great for areas where the water has to actually be pushed out. Love that I have that option. It looks great, and it’s not too noisy. It is an awesome size for an industrial unit. Waykar also provides a 5 year warranty which is awesome!
